Two decades,
one mission.
Every branch, every milestone — built around one commitment to exceptional eye care in Nigeria.
As demand for our services grew, we opened our first mainland clinic in Ikeja, making specialist eye care more accessible to patients living and working on the mainland.
Ten years after welcoming our first patient, we moved into a larger purpose-built facility on Muri-Okunola Street, enabling us to expand services and invest in modern technology.
In partnership with My-iClinic UK, we commissioned our dedicated ophthalmic surgical suite for cataract and glaucoma surgery, significantly enhancing the safety and precision of our surgical care.
We opened a clinic in Lekki Phase I, later relocating to a larger facility in Ajah, while our new Ikeja clinic further strengthened our network across Lagos.
The Eye Doctors welcomed its first patient in Victoria Island, Lagos — with three full-time and one part-time staff member, and a simple but ambitious vision.
Our journey continued with the opening of our Yaba clinic, extending comprehensive ophthalmic and optometric services to more families across Lagos.
To better serve our growing mainland community, we relocated to our larger facility in Gbagada, which quickly became one of Lagos' leading referral eye centres.
We continued investing in advanced diagnostic technology across all clinics — OCT, visual field analysers and more — ensuring earlier diagnosis and better outcomes.
100,000+ patients cared for, 3,500+ sight-restoring surgeries, five specialist clinics — and the launch of The Eye Doctors Foundation to extend our charitable work.
